Lock of the Week

This week, I'm going to have to take the Wolverines on that road at Indiana. Indiana has not had a real test and the Wolverines are coming to town with a high octane offense, lead by Heisman hopeful Denard Robinson. Take the Wolverines -10, they should easily win by 3 Td's.

USC vs Hawaii

USC opens up their college football season tonight with the Warriors from the University of Hawaii and yes I'm aware Reggie Bush will not be suiting up for the Trojans. If he was, I would be taking the Trojans with the 21 1/2 points, but unfortunately, he is unavailable. USC is lacking in the motivation department, because the NCAA ruled they cannot compete in any post season play. Why would you want to come out and show everything you've got, when it doesn't even matter. Reason number 2, Lane Kiffin, enough said. I'm going to be rolling with Hawaii and the 21 1/2 points tonight. This should be a good warm up for my Lock of the week selection. I will be releasing my lock of the week picks every Friday, unless I see a good line on the Thursday night games. Be sure to tune in for my pick tomorrow.

Lock of the Week

As I've mentioned before, i'm not a professional handicapper, but I'm riding a 2-0 streak on my lock of the week. This week I'm going to switch things up a bit. For the last 2 weeks i have had a college pick for Lock of the Week, but this week I'm going to switch gears to the NFL. I believe this pick is gold. Now i know there's no such thing as a sure thing, let's just say i have a really good feeling about this one.

All i can say is that I'm all in on this one. Denver should easily cover the 3.5 point spread at Washington.The Redskins will be lucky to score a touchdown on the Broncos D. Hoping to move to 3-0 on my Lock of the Week Picks.

Lock of the Week

Now I'm not handicapper by any means, but i have been known to make a wager or two in my day. This week's Lock took a lot of thought. I was just about to pull the trigger on Oregon, but i had a not so fast moment. I kept reviewing the lines and finally came to a conclusion. Maryland sucks. This week Maryland is playing at Nc State. Now Nc State is not a defensive powerhouse by any sense of the word, but they can put up some impressive numbers on offense. I just don't think the turtles can hang down in Raleigh. So bet the farm on Nc State - 6 1/2

Lock of the Week

This is a little section for the Gamblers that follow me. Now i have been known to put a little bit of money on a game or two, but now i like to try my hand at handicapping. Every week i research all of the college and NFL football games to look for that lock of the week. This is the pick that i would put my whole bankroll on. Sometimes there are more than one of these games, sometimes just one game. To get things started I'm going to go with.....

Houston is a 6 1/2 point favorite against southern miss. I would put the farm up on this one, not literally, but i would be willing to bet that the number 1 pass offense in the nation can destroy the45th ranked pass defense. I'll even keep a tally of my picks throughout the year.
